Rising pianist Hannah Zhang represents the next generation of classical musicians—artists who combine technical brilliance with expressive depth.
Currently pursuing her Bachelor of Music at Northwestern University, Hannah studies under Dr. Christopher Guzman and is a recipient of the prestigious Betty van Gorkom and Mulacek Undergraduate Piano Scholarships.
She has already appeared as a soloist with the National Repertory Orchestra, the New England Youth Ensemble, and the Washington Conservatory Orchestra, and has worked as an orchestral pianist with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and the New World Symphony.
What sets Hannah apart is her ability to communicate emotion with clarity and honesty. In Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 20, this quality is essential—the soloist must navigate both technical demands and profound emotional shifts.
Her performance on February 7 offers audiences the chance to hear a remarkable young artist at an exciting moment in her career, bringing fresh perspective to one of Mozart’s most compelling works.
