The Lake County Symphony Orchestra opens its new season with Curtain Up! – a celebration of music written for the stage and screen.

Audiences will hear Rossini’s comedic brilliance in the Barber of Seville Overture, Bizet’s unforgettable melodies from Carmen, Gershwin’s iconic Porgy and Bess, Bernstein’s fiery West Side Story, and film music from John Williams’ Jurassic Park and Raiders of the Lost Ark. The evening closes with a rousing medley from Chicago.
